Ye Grand tour of Mungindi
Sunday was our last day in Mungindi so Rebel took us on a tour of town. It took us about 30 mins and saw us travelling from one edge of town (the cotton Gin and the airport in NSW) to the other,(one ton post and the entrance to NSW, in QLD). It was pretty flash, we drove down mission street - that's where the aboriginals live! Past the levy - that keeps the river from flooding the town, and into Aunty Gil's backyard so we could smell the roses. As usual we ended up at the pub for more drinks and another meal before it was time to head off.
Yes, another 5.5 hours on the road. Thanks Pops!

This is the town's main tourist attraction, the fencers hut. It is just next to (quite literally, like 5 metres) the One Ton Post - one of the original markers of the NSW QLD border.
And here it is... the post itself!
Rebels house is just over the border
