China and its great wall

Mum and Dad just had the pleasure of visiting the great wall of China while mum is over visiting dad. I though i would just put his (hope this is ok Pa) email up with a bit of very minor editing.

"Well we've been to the Great Wall and it was well worth it, it was an absolutely beautiful day although we only got to spend 2 hrs there after a 6hr drive (which should only have been 3hrs). We went with a bunch of friends but the organiser didn't tell us we were also going to the Ming Tomb on the way, or that the driver was a f**k wit and didn't know the way. So we got lost for a couple of hrs and spent another hr at this tomb we didn't want to see...

Otherwise it was good. The wall itself is magnificent and a incredible engineering feat, but no matter how hard we looked we couldn't find any rabbits, we thought we saw a rabbit track but maybe not!

We chose a lower section to go to while our friends took the upper section. We had only small numbers of tourist, where the upper section was really crowded, so I think we went to the part that suited us better, but man its damn steep in places and if you're not fit it really takes it out of you.
We were stuffed afterwards but really enjoyed it - luckily they have a cable car to get you half way up. Well that enough dribble."
